How can we be whole?
How can we be some-one, some time
All the time or just part time?
These days I’m lucky, mostly feel whole.
No- I didn’t say hole! – don’t go there -be here- in the present with me,
Be free, be blessed, you’ve guessed? Or digressed.
Let’ s see? How to feel whole, how to be free.
It’s a long way to Tipperary-ee (from Donegal).
It’s a long way to a whole, to calm, to free.
The road can be crooked, littered with traps-
Sometimes we fall (in & out) How can we get out? or in?
Focus on the good things in life and
The people you share with, bear with, who carry you through
Those dark times, back alleys, retrace your steps, climb hills, explore valleys
The valleys of our minds, the hills of life, mountains of the soul,
Make us whole, sometimes give us chills, thrills.
You slip on ice, onto your tush- face flush.
Find a ‘brain brush’ – to sweep away the mists of self-doubt.
Lone star, pole star- you are stardust.
Be your best- shine in the sun, have fun, make fun-
Be part of a constellation (not consternation), swirling in space
You can face the world- no need for justification, breath in elation.
You are fine as you are,
Radiate kindness, radiate joy
You are a whole some-one,
A whole sum.
